Tapi musik manusia punya micro-imperfection yang bikin relatable.
3 hal ini sering missed saat QC — dan bikin output lu terasa robotic.
AI generate MIDI notes dengan velocity sama persis tiap hit. Manusia gak main keyboard/drum dengan power identical setiap ketuk.
Fix: Randomize velocity ±10-15% tiap note. Buat humanize variation subtle.
AI lock note timing ke grid perfect. Zero swing, zero late/early hit. Kedengeran mechanical kayak metronome.
Fix: Apply 70-80% quantize instead of 100%. Atau manually nudge note ±5ms random.
Groove hidup dari micro-timing imperfection.
AI fill semua bar dengan note/sound. Gak ada pause, gak ada space buat listener process.
Fix: Manually mute 1-2 bar tiap 8-16 bar. Insert silence strategic di breakdown atau pre-drop.
Musik bukan tentang density — tentang balance antara sound dan silence.
1. Loop 8 bar random — kedengeran monotone atau ada variation?
2. Solo drum/bass — ada humanize swing atau robotic grid?
3. Full track — ada moment breathe atau non-stop density?
Kalau jawaban "robotic / grid / density" → apply 3 fix di atas.
Tapi beda output yang terdengar "AI-generated" vs "professionally produced" ada di sini.
Jangan skip QC step cuma karena AI udah generate full track. Post-processing adalah where magic happens.
