Grading di timeline vs hasil export beda
Bukan grading lo jelek. Color space mismatch antara timeline preview dan output codec.
Camera record di Rec.709 atau Log. Timeline interpret di Working Space (RGB/ACES). Export output di codec tertentu.
Kalau lo nggak explicitly match space ini, warna lo transform incorrect.
sRGB = narrower gamut. Kalau footage Rec.709 di-clamp ke sRGB, saturation drop. Washed out effect.
SYMPTOM:
Red lo di timeline merah terang. Export jadi merah kusam/pink.
H.264/H.265 punya flag color_primaries, transfer_characteristics, matrix_coefficients. Kalau salah atau missing → washed out di player.
Log = flat gamma curve. Butuh conversion LUT (Log → Rec.709). Export tanpa apply LUT = washed out guaranteed.
PREMIERE PRO:
1. Project Settings → Working Space: Rec.709
2. Export → Video tab → Color Space: Match Source
Atau: Color Space: Rec.709 explicit
DAVINCI RESOLVE:
1. Project Settings → Color Management: DaVinci YRGB
2. Timeline color space: Rec.709 Gamma 2.4
3. Deliver → Color Space tag: Same as Timeline
ACES = wide gamut workflow. Kalau export nggak apply Output Device Transform (ODT) → washed out di Rec.709 display.
Color management nggak optional kalau lo serius di grading.
Atau share ke colorist yang masih export washed out
